Bauzyme is a biotechnology company founded in 2022. Founder Dr. Barış Binay has been researching enzymes since 2001. Having started enzyme research with the potential for use of lipase enzymes in the food industry for his undergraduate graduation project, Dr. Barış Binay worked on recombinant enzyme production and enzyme engineering during his master's and doctoral years. He has worked on many enzymes used for industrial, medical, pharmaceutical and research purposes. These studies have been supported by national and international projects and have been published in prestigious SCI/E indexed journals.
Dr. Binay has been cooperated with many domestic and international partners known for their enzyme studies in this period. During his graduate education at Istanbul Technical University Molecular Biology and Genetics-Biotechnology Program, Dr. Barış Binay studied with Prof. R. B. Session (Bristol University/UK) who known for his protein computational modeling studies and Prof. Dr. N. J. Turner (Manchester University/UK) who an authority in his field with his studies on enzymes. Bauzyme Biotechnology, is a company that embodied the knowledge and experience of Dr. Barış Binay for more than 20 years. It aims to provide enzymatic solutions to industrial applications, diseases and environmental problems with its unique innovation climate.
